Our beautiful city of San Francisco

I have never seen a Blue Angels show, although I have been to a couple of air shows when I was younger and I loved them.  After I get married and have kids, I'm taking them to shows as much as possible.

But I guess I can't take them to San Francisco anymore.  They wish to ban the Blue Angels from Fleet week up there.  Since I live in southern California, I agree with them, as a matter of fact, ban Fleet week altogether and bring it down here to either Long Beach or San Diego!

But that's not the point.  The point is, San Francisco is so against the military it is appalling.  I've been up there before, and it's a beautiful city and the people really bring that out, as diverse and sometimes crazy as they are.  One of my best driving experiences has been in San Francisco, there's nothing like driving through downtown SF with a manual transmission.

It is truly sad to see a city want to go the way they are going, but so be it.  They don't support the troops, so therefore they are not patriotic.  I'm not even going to question it, I'm accusing them of being unpatriotic.  Their actually willing to miss out on millions of dollars every year just to prove how unpatriotic they are.

Their biggest points against the Blue Angels are that one could crash, and the person in the video I show below follows directly in line with liberal talking points, i.e. use a pilot/soldier/marine/sailor death to your advantage to knock the military.  I'm sure those pilots who have been unfortunately taken from us wouldn't want to BA shows to stop.  But that won't stop SF liberals from pissing all over the graves of our military personnel.

The guy's second point is his personal opinion on the Blue Angels, they promote the military to kids.  Boo-freaking-hoo, buddy.  The Blue Angels are a great recruitment tool, but they're a symbol of pride in our military as well.  If a kid wants to join up after seeing the Blue Angels, or any other military show, then great, he or she has the support of a great many Americans.  If it instills a little bit more pride in our younger generations to be proud to be an American, then even better.

But what I don't get is how is he still ok with Fleet Week, just not the Blue Angels.  He refers to the Blue Angels as weapons of mass destruction, but he's ok with aircraft carriers and other naval ships?  It really doesn't seem like this guy thought it through all the way.

If these groups in San Francisco are successful, then so be it.  Many other coastal cities will be proud to host Fleet Week and the Blue Angels.  It's absolutely frustrating to see fellow Americans hate America and its military so much.

Welcome!

Hello all,

I'm conservative Jack, just another young man in America trying to make it by and not seeing what I'm liking.

I was raised to love this country and to serve and defend that.  Many men and women of my generation chose to do so in the military.  I've chosen to do so in law enforcement.  To each his own, and I look up towards our troops, many of whom are even younger than I am.

I was raised to love the military.  My father served for 22 years, my grandpa before him for two years.  I'm your average military brat, unable to remember the name of at least ten schools I attended, born and raised in several different countries, and having met more people than any person could remember.  A series of unfortunate and fortunate events took place, including falling in love and my own youthful stupidity, preventing me from joining the military.  I still don't rule it out, but right now God has other intentions for me, as hard as that can be to swallow.

Speaking of God, I'm a Christian, a born-again Christian.  I love God and will always understand that he has a path for me.  I've chosen to follow it, as difficult as it may be.  I know I'll be rewarded in the end.

But hey, that's me in a nutshell.  This is my blog in which I'll be posting my opinions on recent events.  I love to write and give opinions, something I'm not able to do frequently.  When you're surrounded by liberals, well, you know.

I hope you enjoy your time here, and I'll be putting things up in a timely manner (I hope).  Stay tuned

CJ out.
